About the Technology
Stair flights are monolithic reinforced concrete structures that connect building floors and accept constant operational loads. They are used in residential, commercial, industrial, and public objects where strength, precise step geometry, and reliable connection with landings and floors are important.
Works are carried out according to the project, considering floor levels, slopes, step dimensions, reinforcement, support, and junction nodes. On-site, formwork for the flight and landings is installed, reinforcement cage is mounted, embedded parts and releases are installed, followed by concreting with control over geometry and surface quality.
Main Stages
- Work Zone Preparation - checking design levels, axes, support areas, and readiness of adjacent structures.
- Formwork Installation - installing panels, posts, and elements forming the slope, steps, and stair landings.
- Reinforcement - tying the reinforcement cage, installing fixators, releases, and embedded parts.
- Geometry Check - controlling step height, flight width, slopes, protective layers, and junction nodes.
- Concreting and Handover - supply and compaction of concrete mix, concrete care, formwork removal, and as-built documentation preparation.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can work start without a full project?
A project is required for stair flights, as floor levels, step dimensions, slopes, and support nodes are important. We can preliminarily estimate volumes and prepare organizational solutions.
-
Can work be performed in winter?
Yes, subject to winter concreting technology. It is important to ensure temperature regime, structure protection, and concrete strength gain control.
-
How is work quality controlled?
We check axes, levels, formwork, reinforcement, protective layers, step dimensions, slopes, and concrete mix quality. Hidden works are recorded in acts and logs..
-
How long does stair flight installation take?
The duration depends on the number of flights, building height, shape complexity, formwork system, and concreting schedule. The exact term is determined after project analysis
