About the Technology
Vibro installation of sheet piles is a method of installing sheet pile walls using vibro hammers. The vibro hammer creates high-frequency vibrations that help the sheet pile penetrate into the ground without destroying its structure. This method is effective in sandy, gravelly soils, and allows quick installation of temporary and permanent enclosures for excavations, foundation pits, and hydraulic structures.
The works are performed using specialized equipment — vibro hammers of various capacities and types, which are selected depending on the sheet pile profile, soil type, and installation depth. Before starting, the project is analyzed, the site is prepared, the installation axis is laid out, and equipment access is organized.
- Project and Site Analysis - we study geological conditions, sheet pile type, required installation depth, site features, and possible restrictions.
- Equipment and Materials Selection - we determine the vibro hammer type, crane, guides, sheet pile, and auxiliary equipment.
- Work Zone Preparation - we organize equipment access, storage area, geodetic layout, control elevations, and safe work zone.
- Vibro Installation of Sheet Piles - we install sheet piles with control of verticality, design axis, interlock connections, and installation depth.
- Quality Control and Acceptance - we check the sheet pile wall position, fix deviations, verify the result according to project documentation and transfer for the next construction stage.
Price
The cost of sheet pile vibro installation services is determined individually for each project. The price formation is influenced by the sheet pile profile type and length, soil characteristics, required installation depth, work volume, equipment rental conditions, and mobilization/demobilization of equipment. Installation under difficult conditions (dense urban development, limited site access, presence of underground utilities) may require additional measures and affect the final price. To obtain an accurate cost, it is necessary to provide geological surveys, project documentation for the sheet pile enclosure, and work timeline. Based on these data, the contractor will prepare a detailed commercial proposal.
